Healthwatch Wandsworth

Healthwatch Wandsworth is the new independent consumer champion for health and social care services in England. It is created to give children, young people and adults a powerful voice – making sure their views and experiences are heard by those who run, plan and regulate health and social care services in Wandsworth.

Healthwatch wants to know what you think about your health and social care services. Service providers have to listen to Healthwatch – so they’ll be listening to you. What gives Healthwatch its unique powers of influence is that it has seats on the Health & Wellbeing board and the Clinical Commissioning Board and speaking rights at the Adult Care and Health Overview and Scrutiny Committee.

So as well as feeding in your views and experiences to those that run, commission and regulate health and social care services, Healthwatch will always go back to the people we have consulted and let them know if and how things have changed. These rights will ensure that the voice of the community is heard where it counts most.

Since May 2013 Healthwatch Wandsworth has also been providing a brand new Information & Signposting Service. This is a new service that aims to provide independent information and signposting to support people to access information about local health and social care services. So whether you need help finding a local NHS dentist, you want to know how to complain about an experience you, a friend or relative had at a local GP service or you just want information about locally available health and social services, you can get in touch.

You can email, call or write to us.
