Wandsworth Enterprise Week is a borough-wide initiative which runs from 3-8th Feb. The objective of the event is to foster and celebrate enterprise within Wandsworth. The event will focus on Social, Youth, Women's Food and Creative enterprise and in addition to key events, workshops will run throughout the week. Key events include the Wandsworth Business Forum, Womens' Enterprise Day and the Youth Enterprise day.

Featured organisation: A2ndvoice

A2ndvoice is a parent-led non-for-profit organisation and recognised charity, which was, formed on 18 May 2012 by Venessa Bobb, a mother of 3, her middle son, Nathaniel was diagnosed with Autism and ADHD in April 2008. He is now 11 years old. Support was received from the Church she attends God Is Gracious Ministries in Tooting, South London.

The Young Person of the Year Award honours young people in Wandsworth who deserve recognition for their achievement, courage, generous attitude or ability to overcome difficult personal circumstances.

The award happens every spring with certificates, trophies and prizes presented by the Mayor of Wandsworth at a special dinner in the Civic Suite.

The Volunteering Wandsworth service has now reopened and will operate as per standard opening hours, i.e. Monday to Friday, 10am - 4pm (excluding public holidays).

Whether one of your "New Year's Resolutions" was to get fit, be more active in community or to gain some new skills, volunteering can be a great way to help to get involved in a variety of projects to help fulfil them.
