The Woodfield Project is holding a fair on Saturday the 4th of July at the Woodfield Pavilion to promote the Tooting Common Heritage Project.

This project is a partnership between The Woodfield Project, a local community group, Wandsworth Council, and Groundwork London. The vision of this project is to restore the old Cricket Pavilion and turn it into a community hub to promote conservation around the Tooting Common but also act as a learning centre providing horticulture & conservation training to increase employment prospects.

Volunteering roles include:

  • Helping with set up and take down (tables, posters)
  • Distributing flyers around the common prior to event
  • Registering guests with sign in sheet + distributing & collecting feedback forms
  • Taking pictures (checking people's consent)
  • Helping with kids arts & craft activities

The fair will kick of at 2pm, but volunteers will be expected to be there earlier, dependant on their roles.
